Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discussions to consult on business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Define people, process and technology needs in support of large-scale data management programs
- Provides expertise regarding data analysis, data management requirements for business and technical stakeholders, data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Assess as-is vs. to-be data management capabilities and maturity assessments for large organizations
- Evaluate master data goals and objectives across large-scale, complex corporate landscapes and systems
- Define future state vision for data management, program teams and structure, strategies and roadmaps
- Document user stories, business and system requirements and functional specifications based upon internal and external customer needs
- Document high level solution design for master data management, data quality, governance and integration solutions
- Participates with both the technical and business teams in the definition of tasks across multiple projects
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to deliver solution definition
- Consult clients on organizational change management (OCM) and business adoption for new business processes, systems implementation and integrations, and human capital management
- Align and support delivery methodologies and best practices such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
- Analyze, profile and assess data across disparate sources and data siloes, create insights by connecting the dots so our clients can improve their performance
- Build advanced analytical models and design solutions for reporting, governance, data or content management
- Provide workstream management and leadership, align team members and clients around a common timeline and objectives, drive results
Critical Competencies
- Proven capabilities as an experienced business and systems analyst
- Expertise in formal requirements gathering methodologies
- Confidence in tackling new and dynamic business or technical challenges
- Demonstrated analytical and technical ability and experience with data, databases, systems, technologies, and languages
- Experience developing Business, Functional, Technical and User Requirements
- Experience creating business process flows
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, or related field
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) principles, data and technologies.
- Experience working on projects involving MDM / PIM and data integration software (Informatica MDM / P360, Stibo STEP, EnterWorks Enable, Akeneo, Dell Boomi, etc.)
- Experience with digital media assets for retail products or consumer packaged goods, such as product marketing images, videos, and content
- Experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.
- Functional experience with MDM/Data Governance programs
- Additional Areas of Valuable Experience:
- Experience with solutions in the areas of eCommerce, Content Management (CMS), CRM, Inventory or Warehouse management (WMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM)
- Experience in Digital Transformation or Digital Strategy Projects
- Experience in both B2B and B2C companies and industry segments such as Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer Goods, Healthcare
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5+ years demonstrated success as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- 3+ years working in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated industry experience
- Excellent communication skills, ability to lead meetings with diverse stakeholders from business, technology and senior leadership
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Working Conditions
- Client environments are Fortune-500 corporate environments and project work may occur in groups on client sites or remotely in small teams
- Requires ability to travel to client locations in the course of delivering projects
- Role has potential for up to 25% travel (Monday through Thursday)
